THIEF AT AKIYAMA JUNCTION

On Friday (30th November), around 2:35pm, an armed robber made away with all the money (sales of the day) and all the recharge cards from a young lady at the recharge card outlet at the Akiyama Junction.

An eye witness confirmed that there were two of them as they saw the armed man with masked face jump on a waiting bike and both of them sped off. Although there were people there, they simply stood there and watched the event unfold. This may have been due to the fact that thief was armed. The raided shop is just beside Chris Café.
Allegedly, the armed robber got into the shop pretending to be a customer. He quickly made his way into the inner section and cocking his gun, he asked the girl to bring out all the money they had gotten for that day, including her phone. the sales girl managed to push him and his gun into a nearby wall and run outside shouting 'Thief oooo, Thief!'
The thief came out, covering his face with a hooded jacket while he and the bike man dashed off towards Abalamabie. A man chased after them on his bike till the robbers shot twice into the air. This was how they made away with all the money and cards.
We definitely need more security to defend young up and coming Bonny business men and women who work hard to make ends meet.
