Finima youths during their *AWARENESS MATCHOUT* yesterday said no more Greenlanders and Icelanders (as they were formally called). However, so many people misunderstood their statement, accusing them of saying that Bonny youths should never come to Finima.
These are the words of some Finima Youths: "We did not say that Bonny youth's should not come to Finima. What we said is that those involved in cutting and shooting of their own brothers, should not bring it to Finima. Rather they should take it to their various villages. No more room for Greenland and Iceland in Finima community." "A word", they say "is enough for the wise."
Finima Youths continued.. "They are been given the last chance to repent or face the music. Some are already in for it. Especially the onces caught with guns yesterday during our awareness movement."
In some words of advice to Bonny Youths by one Mr Jumbo: My own opinion is that there are people amongst us as youths who encourage them just to clear the road for their political way out. They use them to pass orders and intimidate people. You know them... even our respected brothers who in their days reigned... they did not bring in outsiders to kill their brothers but for the good of the town so I wonder.. what Iceland and Greeniland is dragging for.. I have once asked the past away Iwarimie that what are the conflict between this two cult group that can't be settled. He could not give me any good reasons.Then I knew that the DEVIL himself is at work in the life of youths looking at it in the spiritual views. If every one of us join this cultism, who will then remain as a gentle being ,just a question because I know so many of us have a very strong evil mindset to do crazy things or evil but decide to follow Christ.Please my brothers, follow Christ who is the giver of life and wealth.
...engaging in and doing evil can never give you gain but pay you wit evil at last. When some of us knew about cultism way back in secondary schools in PH as street games, I believe some of these guys would not know about it... even PH is calm over cultism , It is now that the village cultism is been taken serious by some youths.
If I may ask is the cultism abt struggle or agitation for the emancipation of Biafra or a revolution to make change in Niger Delta which can be profitable?
Finally my advice to those youths who engage in carrying guns or like to kill should make their mind and decide to join the Force, we have the Navy , Army , Air force , police recruitment, man no war, even scout and brigade etc..and they will get paid for their job, that is the empowerment program Northern leaders could give to their youths. In all the forces Hausa must take part following the nominal deference. Pls let peace reign in Finima. Thank You..."
